Question: If Morticia can spare youPagans: any relationship with Jung's Collective Unconcious/Archetypes?
I'm trying to get a grip on how universal Paganism is, as it seems to me it must have been universal at one time.
And if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my previous question, I'd appreciate it.
One more thing: I'm trying to recall the name of a book written by a man whose name I believe is Campbell on symbolism. Any help is appreciated.
Answer: "I'm trying to get a grip on how universal Paganism is, as it seems to me it must have been universal at one time."
I think that you're assuming that Paganism is a word that described a defined belief system, as with Islam or Judeo-Christianity, who have books and laws. You could call that a "logocentric" belief system that has definition. I heard one pagan call them "The people of the book".
The term Paganism has come to refer to the vast panoply of belief systems that are *not* book-centred and as such is only useful for those who are still making the assumption that this is a defining characteristic of belief systems in general.
It's a bit like the term "alternative medicine" blanketing so many modalities of health and healing. All it really means is "not conventional medicine" and doesnt say anything about those alternatives themselves.
Once beyond that, "Paganism" stands for so many approaches to spirituality. Among the more defined ones are Wicca, Core shamanism, druidism, astaru ("Heathenism"). Even some branches of christianity are paganism lite.
Among all of these however are the fluid bounderies of personal experience and "subjective" encounters in the inner worlds with archetypal energies and elementals. Pagans, if such a term can be used, tend to value flexibility and adaptability as much one encounters on this path brings one to unravel and change existing preconceptions rather than further crystallising them.
As far as Jung was concerned, his achievement was to essentially re-cast shamanic techniques into a modern western idiom, allowing that meme easier proliferation among western therapeutic communities. He gave back to western thought what it had lost during "civilisation" - a language of connection with the inner planes.

By the way, the guy you're looking for is probably Joseph Campbell the comparative mythologist (who had a hand in the script for "Star Wars")_"The Power of Myth" and "The Hero With a Thousand Faces" are essential reading, in my view.

Question: It 's difficult to install ISO plugs? (Vstar 650).?I have a 2000 Vstar 650, I've only been riding for a few months. I "Think" that the gas / knobs are held by adhesive (According to the description, at least). I'd rather not have my grip im fly off while driving, so it is very simple and should I just avoid and keep my current ones. Answer: Put the new ones is a breeze. Iso Grips with you will want to determine the position you want. I slipped on the and tick the box of my grip and go through a point (marker) before applying the glue. Once the glue has been applied I pushed the handle in a single movement Fast. I was told that the tape used to adhere taken golf club is easy to use and allows you to adjust before it sets.
