Question: Where can I buy professional lighting used (for movies)?

I would have my own installer three-point lighting (key, fill, and back), but I am a student on a budget so you do not want to spend hundreds on each piece. Basically what we need are stands of each (ideally with a background heavy tripod legs so that I can use in the grass and windy days) and specialized lamps black fins to direct the light. Do not really know that well, and terms that this is not my department. I've learned the basics of using the light when I was a crew member news program at my school, but I do not know any professional lighting by telling me where to buy. Thanks in advance.

Answer: I would begin to seek professional lighting stores – Second-hand can do the job as well as new I guess. Another option would be try an auction site like eBay … That's where I start. I also consider getting less light and use reflectors to fill in, for example. Always can use other tungsten lights for your background too … If you're in the UK is Mr Cad in Croydon or KJP.
