Question: is there anyway to preserve rose petals without the use of chemicals?
i got 3 dozen roses that are sadly dying, but some of the rose petals are still nice and red. is there anyway to preserve them without having to run out to the store to buy stuff?
Answer: place them in between a book. It's keeps them looking fresh. Problem is U can't take 'em out or they'll dry out. If U want them dried out' though, just hang the roses upside down. That's how ya make potpourri

Question: What to do with rose petals after the water rose petal?I know that there is not much left to petals rose after soaking them in water to make rose petal water, but some have creative uses for them? Any food or arts and crafts idea or only what you can I find it? Thanks!
Answer: make them into beads. Rose Petal pearls are a very dark red. Take them in balls and on a wire rope to dry. Cable must be as large as you want the hole in their being. I did about 40 years ago with the woman near her grandmother and my teaching. Neighbor had a huge rose garden so loads of rose petals to make all kinds of stuff.

First up, let"s start by searching Ebay for Petals Wedding Bridal:
Question: Color Coordinated Linens at the Reception?
My friend is getting married in a few months. Her colors are black and champage. She is using pink and orange in her bridal bouquets
Her reception site comes with color coordinated linens in her wedding package. What colors should she use? Her bridesmaid dresses are black. Her centerpieces are pillar candles and votives w/ pink rose petals.
The reception site is suggesting she use a tablecloth with a pink underlay and a white linens on top w/ pink napkins. (hope that makes sense). But, she doesn't like the color pink they have. They do not offer any other color pink.
She was thinking about using a black underlay w/ a white tablecloth and black napkins. What do you think?
She asked my opinion, but I'm not sure what to tell her.
The reception is in the evening and is pretty formal. Not black tie, but everyone will be in cocktail/evening wear.Answer: I would definitely go with black underlay with a champagne tablecloth and black napkins. If she doesn't like the pink that they have I do not suggest that she use any orange with black. For some reason orange and black remind me more of high school or football colors.
I think that the champagne and black will go beautifully with everything. The pink rose petals will work as a lovely accent. Just advise your friend to keep it simple. Most of the time people do not remember the color table cloth you had...unless you pick some obnxious color--then people tend to notice. Simple is better...
