Question: What GPS units can support movies?

So I want to get my lady a GPS unit for Christmas. I am looking at Garmin and Magellan. After doing some research I would much rather spend the extra money and get her a good one with BLUETOOTH capability and one that also has a SD card slot available. But I know that if you get a SD card with enough memory that a movie can be saved on it. So would the movie be able to play through the GPS system? I figured it would have to have media player or some kind of software to do so but I figured before I dropped the money on this thing I should see if any of the models would support movies. Anyone know? Thanks everyone your help is always appreciated!

Answer: yes, i do. i have one. it is one of the only gps with so much features for little cost

1. sd slot for sd card
2. plays movies and mp4
3. has a extra wide 5 inch screen
4. is super slim and light weight
5. comes with a free 4G sd card
6. can get it with optional bluetooth
7. has fm transmitter
8. optional audio video input for external cameras
9. plays video games
10. plays music and give turn by turn directions while you listen to your tunes
11. plays flash movies too .swf
12. has a calculator, calendar, and also read eBook
13. FREE MAPS
14. FREE SHIPPING
15. optional built in laser detector / radar detector

Question: When you buy a memory card, the card must be the same corporation as the camera?

For example, my camera is a power CANON SD100 IS SHOT, but my memory card, it says MAGELLAN 64MB SECURE DIGITAL MEMORY CARD? Is this why I can only take 20 pictures or two on the memory card? Cause it does not go with my camera?

Answer: No, you can take 20 pictures because map is 64 MB, not because it is Magellan. Usually the sign of a card does nothing, but it's always a good idea to use a good brand (Lexar [my favorite], Sandisk, Kingston, etc.), so you know it's good quality. Of course, Canon also. But your camera records images that are about 3mb in size, so there is only room for 20 on your card 64MB. You need a much larger map, I suggest you a gigabyte or two (it's 1G or 2G). A gigabyte is 1,000 megabytes (when it comes to memory cards, in reality it is 1024, but the card manufacturers have always cheated out of extra-24). Then you'll be able to save hundreds of photos before your memory is lacking. LEM.

Question: Discovery Kids Digital Camera…?

Does anyone know how to get this thing to work ?
My 6 yr old daughter got one from her grandmother for Christmas and i have done all of the things i’m supposed to……batteries, installation CD, the works, and the damn thing does not want to work……….
could anyone help with this, its really frustrating me, LOL.
Thank you.
Thanks for the answer(s)…….
I have reviewed the camera on amazon and it has some very bad comments, etc,
but it, unfortunately, has nothing about the installation……….my daughter isnt disappaointed because she, thankfully, has forgotten about my messing around with it, she’ll remember next week though i’m sure, LOL………

Answer: It looks like you’re not alone. I just found some reviews – very unhappy owners :-(

Question: Is my 2 and a 1 / 2 year old digital camera for kids too young?

My son is 2 1 / 2 years old. She loves look at the LCD on the back of the camera after taking a picture. I was thinking of buying one of those tough guy digital camera for Christmas. I know that There are different brands of higher there. The ages of most of them say 3 and up. Do you think this is a toy rather than a 2 1 / 2 year old? Am wasting my money? Thank you all:)

Answer: Well, not many children of that age to really understand how to work with technology such things as digital cameras, DVD's, TV 's, Ect.My point is, that children of this age are usually a lot of funny things that look flashy, or colors, Ect.But not mean they understand what they are, or how to use them unless they are shown by someone who does not understand what are.And though you tell them, or show even just does not mean you should hand them something and say, "Okay, go to the city, and have fun playing with his new toy." children do not understand things Concepts how we as adults Do.So my advice would be to wait until your child is at least in the learning stage, or at least once a child is within the preschool years (Like 4-6 years old). Also, do not always think that the people of the inn can answer that question for you, they do not know, or care about what happens to the chamber after or know if your child can break what they call unbreakable (the same was said about the Titanic, and look where it landed for so long, deep ocean say an example). This is just to make money by any means neccasary.I I hope this makes sense for you to think on your decision about buying a camera (toy or otherwise) and regretting the consequences / headaches later.Good Luck, and God bless.
