Question: My Diana+ instant photos are all BLANK! What am I doing wrong?
I just started yesterday with the Diana+ Instant Back. I've already gone through an entire roll of 10! The very first picture I took was outside of my dog, and ended up being almost perfect. It was a tad over exposed, but still worked out. Then I took one of the sky and trees, and the sky is totally white, so I guess it was over exposed too. Then I took another of my dog, and it's almost so dark that you cant see anything. Then I took another of my cat, and same thing... but even darker. And after that... every single picture is totally black, as if i didn't even expose the film at all. I'm POSITIVE that the lens cap was off for all of them, and the settings were all right i think, soo...? Can anyone tell me what's happening? The film I'm using is Fujifilm Instax Mini, but I don't really know what ISO is it, because the package is all in Japanese haha. Any help is appreciated!! =)
Answer: I haven't had a chance to try out the instant film back yet, but I would check the aperture setting to make sure you aren't exposing your film with the camera set to the P pinhole setting.
The basic setup for standard film is similar to using instant film.
Use the S.A.F.E. acronym to check your camera settings.
S - Shutter - for everyday daylight photos, the shutter should be set to N
A- Aperture - I'm not sure what the recommendation is for Instax film, but you should probably be using one of the standard apertures (Sunny, Semi-Cloudy or Cloudy, NOT P for pinhole)
F- Focus - Set the focus according to the distance to your subject.
E- Expose - Trip the shutter release.
Repeat as necessary.
I have a video demonstrating this set up:

Question: What size lens cap for my camera need?I just bought a FujiFilm s1000 on eBay and do not come with a lid the lens. Does anyone know the cap size you need to buy? Thanks for the help. =)
Answer: If you look at mark on the front of the lens barrel will be the size of a zero with a line through it and as the 87mm which is the size of the filters and caps lenses that fit the lens.
