Question: if i pull my Jeep Grand Cherokee after my motorhome, will i put miles on the jeep?
2001 grand cherokee... I know older vehicles register the miles but I'm not sure if the newer ones with digital dash do, because the car is off and transfer case is in neutral... anyone know?
Answer: Wow, I'm impressed that a few said that yes, it will register the miles... that is pretty impressive.
Vehicles only register miles while the vehicle is off if the speedo gear is CABLE OPERATED. That technology hasn't been used since the late 80's early 90's.
You could have the thing IN GEAR and it will not register miles while it is off (though you would damage your drivetrain) because it is all calculated by electronic sensors (your model year).

Question: electrical cables help?I have a ballast that says you need two hot wires and a ground wire. you should not say reactors Digital never have a neutral wire. from what I understand, a standard American thread contains 1hot 1neutral and 1grounding. I have to rewire my grip in order to use the ballast?
Answer: A standard 120-volt outlet has 1 hot, 1 neutral and ground. A 240 volt wall outlet has 2 hots and ground. A neutral can be used as well, depending on the application. Your weight requires a 240 volt socket without neutral. If you already have a circuit of 240 volts, which has a neutral, the neutral can safely be closed with a nut. If you have only 120-volt outlets, you will need to have a 240 volt circuit added.

Lens Hood Filters

First, let"s start by searching Ebay for Lens Hood Filters:
Question: Should I get a lens hood, and will it work with a UV filter?
I'm going to Mexico in a week or so, should I invest in a lens hood? I just got a new telephoto lens for Christmas, and I presume there will be many photos involving sunlight.
If so, how do I know which one to get, and will it work at the same time with my UV filter?
The lens is a Canon EF 75-300mmf/4-5.6 IIIAnswer: Well, get the hood that fits your lens... Either go to a local camera store, or look up your lens on Amazon.com and see what hood they recommend for it.
Alternatively, look at the web site for your lens, and see what the model numbers are for a hood. Then look up that model number in yahoo or google to see what the best price is.
It should work at the same time. All the lenses I've seen have the filter screw into the inner side of the lens tube, while he hood screws onto the outside of the lens hood. The only difficulty would be trying to put on or take of the filter wile the hood is on, since the added depth will make the filter harder to access.

Question: filter or lens hood, or both?If I did have a lens / filter or hood would be just a cheap one. This is for a Canon T2i. also you can use both at the same time?
Answer: It depends on your preferences. I've never broken a glass so you do not feel the need for a filter unless it rains or are on the beach (and even then, no one can have and rely only on the lens cap). I prefer a hood. Protects the lens (even though, as I said I went for years without using one and had never broken anything) and protect against lens flare (which involves filters). This is really my main reason for using a cap now. Yes you can use both at the same time. You see a lot of poseurs tulip with hoods on their goal back (I do not even know why they bother to go to the lenses, you can leave them out since it defeats the purpose).
