Question: next for my D40 w/18-200mm VR is Tripod, Filters, and bag, Help!?
I got the cam, lens & memo card. I need help in deciding a good all-in-one tripod, filter set, and a good case.
I like buying cheap items off ebay...and have no negative impressions like most people do. I think lot of non-branded items are made as good as some branded ones for a lower price.
Tripod: I need a good low-priced one..but don't know which one to buy. I travel, my tripod use will be moderate. I just need a good tripod for lowest price possible.
Filters: UV, CPL (polarizer)...these are the main two I think I want to buy. If I buy HOYA (green)...a set of these two will cost $50 ....and If I buy a set of 3...non-branded...on ebay...it will be a total of $20 only.. The seller is Digitalgoodys from US. What is your word on that?
Camera bag: Well, I want a tiny (inverted pyramid shape) that will hold my D40 w/18-200 facing down. I want to be able to hang it over my left shoulder..and hav flexibility to take out and shoot. Do you know any camera bag like this?
Answer: Manfrotto, Velbon, Slik, Gittos, Bogen are all good choices for a tripod. For travel, one of the carbon fiber models might be a good choice. Make sure the tripod "fits" you - if you're 6 feet tall and the tripod only extends to 5 feet you'll quickly tire of bending over to use it. Don't listen to any suggestion to raise the center column more than an inch or two. Since you say use will be limited, I'd suggest a tilt/pan head.
Buying cheap filters for your expensive lens is like putting used tires on your new car. Heliopan, B+W, Singh-Ray, Hoya, Tiffen are well worth the money. I have used the same Tiffen polarizer for over 30 years. The $90.00 I paid for a B+W 72mm "thin mount" polarizer for my 21mm lens was well worth it. A cheap filter might last less than a year.
You should also consider the optical quality of a cheap filter.
Lowe-Pro, Tamrac, Domke all offer bags that should suit your needs.
Remember: "Quality doesn't cost - it pays."

Question: Neutral Density ND4, CPL UV filter lenses and lens hood Flor?I just bought these accessories for my Nikon DSLR.I m ' ask what is the willingness to get the best picture .. that one should go first?
Answer: The first thing to do is take a photography class. Having a handful of tools and not knowing how to use them is a pain. Umbrellas should be fairly obvious. Reduces the chances of the images ghost and flare when the main light is the front of the lens and sheds light on the front element lens UV filter to protect the front element of the lens. Here is how the circular polarizing filter is used when photographing landscapes and the camera is directed at 90 degrees to the arc of the sun. This increases the blue sky and clouds improving that may be in heaven at that time. The ND filter is used to reduce the amount of light when you stop down the lens still produces a fast shutter speed is to create certain effects such as moving water looking like cotton Spending money on accessories before they know what they do is kind of a waste of money. Find out what need and then buy. Not a good idea to stack filters ... use what you need for what they are shooting.

Question: polarized 3d with normal monitor by powerdvd 10?
is it possible to enjoy 3D movie using normal monitor (syncmaster XL2370) and polarized glasses by powerdvd 10 3D effect on selecting 'micro-polarizer 3D' on 3D display configuration ??
when i do this configuration two images appeared overlapping each other which is similar to the 3D movie when i watch in the cinema so i wonder could i see 3D movie with polarized 3D glassesAnswer: No, your monitor has to put out 2 different light waves, one for the right eye movie and one for the left eye movie. Acer has a row interleave polarized 3d laptop, the 5738DG. Screen has a coating on it so all even numbered horizontal lines of pixels put out one light wave, then all the lines in between those the other light wave. Then each lens of the glasses only lets one light wave through. Since horizontal lines are used it is called row interleave, if vertical lines are used it is called column interleave. Some polarized tv's use column interleave. Right eye movie and left eye movie are then sent to the correct lines.
If your monitor does not have this coating it can not do polarized 3d. It just puts out random light waves in no particular order.

Question: Waves? Light? Phyics?I have a paper review of what to study for a test wave (phyics). Can you help me? Best answer the person who answers the question as the best explaintion. 1.What is a transverse wave? For a transverse wave, defined wavelength, amplitude, duration, frequency and wave speed. What are the units of each? 2.What is the period of a sound wave whose wavelength is 17.0 m / 3.What is the difference between transverse wave and longitudinal wave? 4.What is standing wave? A node? A womb? 5.What is the effect Doppler? How does it work? 6.Explain as the light is transmitted through the glass. Why is ultraviolet radiation transmitted through glass? 7.What is polarazization polarizers and how are they used? Expain because sunglasses polarize light vertically.
Answer: I do not know all the answers, but here it goes: 1. A transverse wave is a wave that propagates (travels) in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the oscillations that produce the wave is moving. Length wavelength is the distance from one peak to another. Ampliltude is the amount of disorder in a half wave cycle, in other words, the height wave. Period when the wave completes a full wavelength. The frequency is the duration of a cycle of wavelength. Wave velocity is the speed of movement or disturbance wave through the medium. 3. A transverse wave is a wave that propagates (travels) perpendicular the direction in which the oscillations that produce the wave is moving. A longitudinal wave is a wave that propagates (Travel) in a direction parallel to the direction in which the oscillations that produce the wave is moving. This is all I know without looking it up on the Internet srry. lol
