Answer: You should wear something considerably light because it most likely will get really hot. Such as shorts and a tank top or T-shirt. Don't wear flip-flops because you WILL get stepped on...so something like Converse or Vans would work perfectly.
I'd say bring around $100, you'll have enough for food and some merch. Bring more if you're planning on getting a lot of merch.
Bring a camera that can take okay pictures but you won't be too bummed if it gets scratched up a little, because it probably will, especially if you go to the more hardcore bands.

Know that (at least at my venue) they make you take off your water bottle caps. So maybe sneak a bottle cap in somehow, because I just ended up chugging my water.
Bring sunscreen. Reapply it throughout the day. You will be glad that you did.
Get to the venue early, because the lines get big really quickly. I got there at like 9:30 and the lines were already long.
Be ready to rock out and have fun!!
