I am thinking about purchasing a Polaroid Land Camera. All I know is that it's from 1965 and I don't know what type of film it takes nor do I know if the film it takes is still sold. Please help!Answer: Polaroids from this era used three different types of film, two of them roll film and one peel-apart pack film.
Roll film cameras included the sub-100 models, as well as the model 100, 150, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. Also, all of the "Swinger" cameras used roll film, but a smaller size from the more expensive ones.
No roll film is still made.
Other Polaroid cameras from this era, including all of the 200, 300, and 400 series cameras, as well as a few 100s(the 125 for sure, and a few others) used type 67 or type 69 pack film. These are still available today as Type 667 or 669, as well as Fuji FP-100C. Any well-stocked store catering to professionals should have some on hand, or you can get it from B&H Photo in New York. This type of film typically runs around $15 for ten exposures.
If you can provide the model number, I can tell you for sure what type of film it takes.

Question: I just found a Polaroid Land camera takes 2000 SX-70 film, how do I run?I do not know how old he is it a film in it, however, it is really old. I just want to know how to operate! It is in very good condition from what I can say ... Does it need batteries or just some new film? Coz I know where to put the film, but there seems to be no place to put the batteries ... Help please!
Answer: With Polaroid SX-70 film, the battery is inside each pack of film. So when you put in the new film, you get new batteries every time, automatically. Here's the problem: find SX-70 film. There is no more, except as something foreign called "SX-70 Blend" film. It is quite expensive. Question: I have Nikon coolpix digital camara. Many times red eye coming in photos. How to remove red eye from camera?
Camera Model: Nikon Coolpix S4 digital Camera. I checked the brocedure given along with camera, but I didn't find any option in camera to remove red eye. Please help.
Answer: The Coolpix S4 has a flash setting for red-eye reduction. In the FLASH Mode Menu, it is the symbol with the lightning bolt and little eye. This setting will give a series of low intensity pre-flashes and the camera also does some in camera processing to remove red-eye before it stores the image.
If this isn't working, try one of the other flash settings or remove it with any good photo manipulation software on your PC.

Question: What causes red eye in photos from digital camera? What causes red eye when taking a picture with a digital camera? Are there other factors that cause red eye in images of digital cameras? 10 points for best answer. Thank you in advance.

Answer: It really has nothing to do with the camera. This is not a problem with the camera it has more to do with how a person's eyes respond to light. Red eye is a problem long before digital cameras were been around. He arrived with film cameras too. This is a common problem with digital cameras and films. Red-eye from picture is caused by the flash reflecting off the retina in the eye of the person. It is particularly common with pictures inside, because your pupils are dilated to adapt to low light. If the pupils are dilated, there is a great chance to get a reflection of the retina from a source of bright light, like lightning. Some cameras have what is called the "red-eye reduction" that would actually the flash twice. The way it works is that when you take a picture with the flash, it fires the flash a second before the actual image is taken. Then, the flash fires again and the picture is taken. The burst of the flash first causes the person to students shrink, reducing the chances of a reflection of the retina where the picture is taken. "Red Eye" is a common problem when taking photos indoors or outside in a low light. Especially if the camera is too close. By the way ... it's also the reason why a camera flash can be so annoying and painful. If you're in a dark room, eyes have adjusted to the dim lighting and your pupils dilated automatically try to compensate. Then suddenly a bright flash of light goes right into your eyes, your pupils wide open. The light invades your eyes and your brain trying to process the overload.
