Question: I own a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and i`m seeing blurry through the lenses…?

When I take the picture, the picture looks just fine, but looking through the eyecup to take the picture, everything looks blurry. I cleaned the lenses but it still looks blurry. What could this be and what can I do?
Myy lenses are 75-300mm and 28-80mm. Thanks

Answer: Next to your viewfinder is the diopter dial. You’ve probably accidentally turned it.

A) aim the camera at something and focus.
B) when the camera locks focus, turn the diopter until the viewfinder is in focus.
C) you’re done.

Edit: I disagree with CJ. The displays often are at a point of view that may be much closer than the subject you’re focusing on. If you can’t tell if your subject is actually in focus, the readings won’t matter at all.
