Question: Photo Camera Screw Mount Size?
What is the size of the screw mount on a digital/film photo camera, such as the canon 40D? Is it 1/4" or 3/4"
Trying to buy a replacement quick release for my tripod.

Answer: Buy the 200PL-14 since your camera uses a 1/4-20 tripod mount.

Question: How can I get my camera to automatically take a photo every 5 seconds?
I have a Canon t2i DSLR that I'd like to mount on a tripod and set to automatically take a photo every 2, 5 or 10 seconds or so, but the camera doesn't offer that option. I'd also like to sometimes have a radio trigger mounted on the hotshoe to fire a strobe or two as well. Is any of this possible? I'm not interested in taking video and then going through it frame by frame to find good stills.
A few examples of what I'm after: capturing random animal/insect shots in a studio setting; sports or family activities where I can be involved instead of being behind the camera; stop-action animation without constantly hitting a shutter release, etc.
Answer: I'm not sure what a t2i is but this sort of thing is available on ebay...

You can also buy cheap radio triggers for off camera flash on ebay as well.
I linked my camera to a laptop and used it for timelapse... which gives you another option, although you'd have to obtain Canon remote software.

Question: My question about why the center speaker reproduces dialogue, not only gameplay on xbox360?Ive just today set up my sony system home theater with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound with my xbox 360 via the fiber optic cable that runs off the side of the spinal coponent that comes from my xbox. Before I set up this way I just had the red, white and yellow wires connected to my TV. Now that I've set up this way, everything sounds great, except my center speaker does not play the game sounds (gunfire, explosions, etc..) But it will play the dialog of characters talking. I went into options with the remote control my home theater, and clicked on every single thing in Options, and nothing is helping. Ive re-inserted in my center speaker cable to make sure it was correct, I can not find the Instruction Manual, unfortunately. Basically, im trying to discover the why people play voices through the center speaker and not weapons, cars, etc.. Anyone have any ideas on how to help? thanks
Answer: It all depends on how the sound was recorded. Traditionally, the center channel is used for voice only, so everything seems to work OK. However, the problem would be if you could not hear the sounds of some other channels. As long as you can hear from other speakers, is the system works well.
