I have a 2002 ford escape, I replaced the battery and alternator new back in august of 2010. Here it is 5 months later and my battery light flickers when I hit bumps driving down the road. It has drained my battery dead. Is there a common problem? I did notice, while driving, and accelerating the head lights will get brighter leading me to believe my alternator is working properly.

Answer: Sounds like the diode , and the voltage regulator are failing. Chances are you got hold of a bad re manufactured alternator. It should have a replacement warranty.

Question: My battery light on at times in my 1999 olds alero v6, what could be the problem?

I replaced my dough 2 weeks ago (B / c the old one had died completely). But in the last 2 weeks, my battery light now and again to come for a few seconds (while driving) and then Go off. But the car runs fine, and I have no issues with it. 1999 Oldsmobile Alero V6

Answer: needle nose pliers is what I use. I have heard shoving a potato in the socket will allow you to twist it out.

I urgently need a couple of days off, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave. I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would tell me to take some vacation days. So I hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My colleague (Who's blonde) asked me what I was doing? I told her I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days holiday. A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked "What are you doing?" I told him I was a light bulb. He said: "You are clearly stressed. Go home and recooperate for a couple of days. "I jumped down and left the office. When my colleague (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her" E where you going? "He said," I'm going home too, I can not work in the dark!
