Question: Is it a lithium-ion rechargeable battery for Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 lived long enough to use the route?

Answer: According to the specifications, the battery life of DMC-FZ8 is rated for 380 shots on a full charge. In my opinion, nothing would happen if you bought a spare battery for the camera – I think you can buy at a camera shop. I bought a second battery for my 400D in a camera store too, so I'm sure they have it.
