Question: Can we use the same tripod for cameras and camcorders ?
I have a canon camera and it works with every camera - will it work with every tripod ?
Are there any standards for tripod to accomodate all cameras and tripods ?
Works on other SLR camera's - I wonder if it works on digital camcorders !!?!?!Answer: Usually video cameras have larger plates on them and are more sturdy. I used a regular cheap camera tripod for my video camera, and it broke because the video camera weighted too much for it. While a lot of the time many tripod heads can fit still cameras and video cameras, it's best to get the one you need.
I don't exactly understand what you're saying when you say "I have a canon camera and it works with every camera" though. The camera (assuming its a still camera) should work on most tripods, but you should try just using a still Camera One.

Question: What is the size of the screw for the camera tripod? And where can I buy 1?I just need not to screw the tripod.
Answer: just a regular 1 / 4 "-20 bolt or screw from Home Depot, Ace, Lowes, etc. very very common, I bet that its most common screw thread SAE

Question: Which cable release do I use for the Canon EOS Rebel 2000?
I just purchased a Canon EOS Rebel 2000. Its a 35 mm film camera. I need to get a cable release for it for my photography class. Do you know if I can use a stand universal one?
Answer: On the shutter release button you'll notice a hole in the center. This hole has threads that will accept a standard size cable release.
However, I'd suggest taking your camera to a local shop where cable releases are sold and trying it out before you buy. Have the sales person show you how.

Question: How do I download photos from a Canon EOS Digital Rebel?Ok, I have this camera, what I do, i plug it (as long as it is on) into my comp with a USB cable, then I open my computer, then you search with Windows Explorer, but dont see it. Is there an option or press the button i have to view the photos to see on the computer? (oh, and I dont have a card reader, so that the cable is) my only option. I did not buy this camera, I borrowed it from school and must I uploaded it today, I can not buy a card reader means. Also, I can not find the USB settings on the camera ... Help me please
Answer: The easiest way is to use a card reader ... if you use the CF card in it will run Windows and you will see it as a removable disk to see ... I do not know say why, but with my Canon friends, they had to use the software than came with the Canon EOS Digital cameas to copy files. Ask I do not why this is so ... I never had a problem when I have my DSLR with the USB cable is connected. You need to go to school early, simply copy the image files on the computer and then burn a CD of your images. If you are at your school with a lot of Canon, the Canon software you install on your computer so that you do not have this Problem again (or pick up a nice cheap card reader for the next time)
