Question: Any disadvantages of upgrading a compact camera digital semi?I had a Kodak Z730 semi-compact In recent years, and found large (right amount of features automatic and manual for my needs). I've been looking to upgrade the camera via a lens kit (wide angle, macro, telephoto) to give me more options. Question is, are there disadvantages Major trying to update my camera this way? Thank you for the advice!
Answer: I saw these attachments you're talking about, a number of agreements already exist these kits made for them. The problem is that they are only modifications, the aircraft was not really designed from the start to this question. Accordingly, these modifications can affect the quality of your image. The only truly modular system is a medium-format SLR, where the sights, the back and the lenses are all designed for her and all removed. If an item is not removable and require additional parts to increase there will always be a reduction of pure performance.

As fhotoace says, it is entirely up to the skill of the photographer, little to do with the camera, although the one thing that DOES make a difference is the lens. Even the most skilled photographer cannot compensate for the difference between a high quality lens and a mediocre lens. Most camera kits lenses are mediocre or close to it.
Work out what type of photography you would like to focus on, decide which lens best suits that type of photography and then decide on the Camera System. Avoid the DSLR kits, buy a body only and an appropriate lens.
