There is a digital SLR that uses no batteries, but a charger or a battery as the Canon PowerShot SD700? (I can not remember if this is the model number but you get the idea.)

Answer: Almost all digital cameras use special rechargeable Li-Ion battery. Like this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/images/images345x345/409071.jpg The only memory that uses regular AA batteries some models from Pentax.

I'm not sure what camera I should purchase, i am considering the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80, and the Canon PowerShot SD1000. anyone know which of these cameras is actually best?
