hey…
for christmas i was bought a kodak digital camera.. which i love!
but when i took it out with me i must have banged it against something..=S
and when i took it out of its case and turned it on… the screen is all white with a big black blotch in the middle!! =[

i can still take pics and things.. but cant see anything on the screen.. so bit pointless really! =[

just wondering what could i do about it... i.e take it to a shop to get it fixed/ how much would it cost?

any advice?

Answer: Take it to a camera repairer. If he says it is not cost-effective to trpair bin it and buy a replacement.

I doubt whether your guarantee will cover accidental damage but you could try.

Question: What should I do with my Kodak EasyShare c633?

The screen on this camera is broken. It happened during a camping trip, not really sure what happened. But the screen is all white with black spots that looks like it was stepped on something. I did some research and understood that it is generally cheaper to get a new camera, especially since the camera Photo is only about $ 100 to start. If this happens, what should I do with the camera? It lights up and taking photos yet, but obviously much of the appeal of digital cameras is on the screen! It seems odd to just throw away. Suggestions?

Answer: Believe it or not a market for broken / non working device on eBay. All you get is of course better than to evacuate. The fact it works (takes pictures) should allow a slightly higher price. Just put it up and see what happens, you have nothing to lose.
