Question: Waning a new look and style?
Hi people!
I'm hoping ya'll can help me out with this. I have light brown/dirty blonde hair (with here-and-there natural highlights). It's on the verge of being long, and is thick (but not un-manageable).
I've had this look for a while now and am wanting some color change. I'm wondering what sort of highlights and lowlights would look good in a sort of rebel sense without (scarring my chance at a job).
I'm wanting a new hair cut, but nothing that makes my bangs hang in my eyes (sexy, but irritating!). I'm trying to keep the length too.
P.S.- I can't upload a pic since my digital camera broke, so if anyone knows of a website I could look at, much appreciated.

Question: is 5x optical & digital zoom good?
I want a new camera for attending sci fi conventions, normal done in a large dimly lit room where my images will be focused on a stage and normally someone under a spot light.
Someone said to get 10 mega pixels but i dont know if i should get SLR or point and shoot ?
I have found a Samsung S1050 10MP which is a good price but is the following good for what i want?

Answer: For your listed needs there really is no camera with all those features that will do what you want in dimly lit rooms.
Your best bet is to start with a DSLR, good standard zoom lens and an external flash
DSLR's have
* Lens interchangeability
* A sensor that is over 15 times larger than P&S cameras
* The ones that are made out of metal (magnesium) have 3 inch LCD's (Nikon D3, D300 and Canon 1Ds Mark III, 450D) all over 10MP sensors
*Continuous shooting
*Image stabilization and/or vibration reduction is best done in the lens, that is why all the Nikon and Canon cameras use lenses with that design
*Redeye is avoided by using an external flashBut the have:
*No face detection
*No digital anti-blur
*No digital zoom
*some use SD memory cards or CF cards
*no internal memory
and high zoom is not important, because you can pick any lens you want from over 30 differentness lenses.Take a look

Most bang for the buck? Amazon is selling the Nikon D40 with a AF-S 18-55 mm lens for under $470. You really need to go into a camera store and hold a few DSLR's in your hands and see what YOU think.

Question: Flash will only fire in AUTO mode. It's a Canon G10?
No matter what I've tried, can't fire flash, unless camera is in Auto. Have been on phone with 2 camera shops and simultaneously trouble shot and still no luck. They said when I press the flash icon (lightning bolt) button on back of camera, I should see something like FORCE FLASH, AUTO and something else. When I push this button it takes me to the ''BUILT-IN FLASH SETTINGS. I've reset the camera to factory settings and get the same result. Any clues??
Answer: Can you put the camera is scn and try the settings, the flash will work with most settings in scene. Some settings will not allow the flash to work. If you put your camera in P Tv Av or M you can push the lightning bolt and choose on or off. If that doesn't work then something is just wrong with your camera.
When you push the lightning bolt, you should see a lightening bolt and a lightening bolt with a circle round it. Choose which one you want and then push the func/set button.
I have a canon G10.

Question: usb flash drive auto play problem help please?
When I plug my usb 2.0 flash drive in a computer, its folder automatically opens up and auto play menu does not show up. I tried to fix it through selections in Hardware and Sound in Vista but nothing seems wrong in options. I have the same problem in a computer with Windows XP.
Answer: Might be autorun recycler virus.I suggest scanning it.
The other thing is to change the autoplay settings using a computer with excel . It worked for me
