Question: My Expresscard (PCMCIA) card reader isnt working?

My Expresscard (PCMCIA) card reader isnt working. i just reformatted. Whn i put in my Compact Flash reader it does nothing.Do i need to dl some drivers and if so can anyone point me to where i can find them. I looked on HPs site and downloaded all the drivers they had for my compy :S.
The Device does not show up in the device manager. I dont know why it doesnt show up

Answer: Right click on my computer -> properties -> hardware tab -> then click on the device manager. You will have listed everything your computer recognizes that is installed as hardware, if it;s not in this list use the button at the top to rescan to find new hardware. if it is in this list you will notice a red x or an exclamation point by it meaning its either disabled or the driver isnt installed. break the menu down with the plus sign and right click onur reader and go to properties. then at the bottom of the general tab make sure device usage says enabled. then click on driver and then click update driver. follow the prompts and allow it to connect to the internet to search for the driver. if you cant find one that way you can TRY going to driverguide.com but the device manager will still give you relevant information about what you need to search for.

Question: I need to know some information about Windows CE.?

I have a NEC MobilePro 900 laptop that is running CE. I have great Search Driver problems for network devices, both USB and PCMCIA, as well as general programs. Whenever I have a program on my flash disk, it comes with an error saying "This is not a Windows CE-based program ', although I've downloaded it from one side, with programs for CE. I am not able to much more information about To find CE. It looks like 95 or 98, but I've read that it is mainly used in PDA phones. Wiki said it was Compact Edition, however, did not say what Compact Edition. Is there a compact version of Windows XP, I could replace it with this program? Can anyone offer any tips?
