I have a Toshiba a105-s4254 laptop and I got it just over a year ago. I got it at circuit city and I need to replace the main battery and battery charger. Does anyone know if circuit city sells the battery and battery chargers? Or do I have to order from toshiba directly. At the time of purchase I also purchased a 5 year warranty. Does anyone also know if this covers the battery and charger? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer: Well batteries naturally deteriorate over a few hundred to a couple of thousand charge cycles (charge and drain=1 cycle) so the battery definitely would not be covered under any warranty. Why are you having to replace the charger? It is only covered under warranty if it is a manufacturer's defect. If your dog ate the cable, you're SOL and need to search for a one yourself.
I don't think that Circuit City carries laptop batteries. You usually need to look at a special battery store, or the manufacturer for this type of thing. Below is a site that sells both batteries and the power adapters for your laptop.

Answer: You need to buy the one that Fujifilm makes for it. Buying a third-party battery is asking for trouble most of the time. They can over heat when charging, thus losing their ability to keep a charge. The power from the third-party batteries may not be consistent and cause issues with your cameras features. the few dollars more for a real Fujifilm battery is well worth it.
