Question: A question regarding flat screen LCD computer monitors...?
I am a little retarded when it comes to technology..
I found this monitor that I really like...(its a ViewSonic 19" LCD Monitor in case anyone is wondering..).
ANYWAYS-
It says that it can be either a TV or a computer monitor.
My question is-When it says that...can I use it as a monitor AS WELL as my tv? I don't have cable in my bedroom. All I would do is hook up my computer and my dvd player to it.
Is that a totally retarded question? Does that even make sense? Can someone help me?
Answer: There's no such thing as a dumb question.
If you have a computer monitor that can be used as a TV you can watch movies on your computer. Just put the dvd into the cd port and the monitor should get a dialog box directing you how to start the movie.
As far as I know you can't actually use the computer monitor as a TV. I think it can only be used to watch dvds on.

Question: You just bought Sony LCD 720p 32 "and trying to put up with DirecTV - no channels found using HDMI If Please help.!?I just bought a 32 "Sony Bravia KDL-32L504. I have a DirecTV HD receiver that I was on a standard def TV using for the last 3 months. Upgrade to HDTV, finally. Hooked receiver for the new TV via HDMI cables. Auto programming does not find channels. Tried to use the standard installation with the old school cables red / white / yellow cable if HDMI is the question. No luck. Tried again on the television receiver and old works like a charm with the cables above red / white / yellow. Anyone have some tips on how to properly configure Sony HDTV with DirecTV HD receiver using an HDMI cable? This should not be rocket science - obviously some setting is wrong on the TV most likely, but I'm at a loss .... Enter button on the remote was on TV rather than HDMI - duh! Thank you for the answer. I figure it out, finally, but not after some frustration. Yeah, I entered the area HD, finally ....
Answer: Have you set the video input selector HDMI on the TV again? HDMI is a newer technology of the old connection cable yellow / red / white - the cables that are During the audio / video receiver DirecTV - There is no ability to change channels. Channel scan will probably not check that the input because it is designed for use over digital cable. You will still need to change channels on your DirecTV box.

Question: What to use to clean the lens on a point and shoot camera?I have a point and shoot Camera Sony DSC-T100. It 'was really beautiful in that time. 8.1 mega pixels. I must admit that is a bit 'abused. I keep it in your pocket at all times of that "moment, just in case". Now, however, because this is pretty beaten up and the picture is not so good anymore. I want to at least clean the lens (Since it's Halloween), but what should I use? Alcohol and a Q-tip? Any ideas? Thanks!
Answer: I use the pre-packaged wipes for cleaning glasses. Used on a hiking / camping travel my camera LUMIX, and it worked like a charm. The goal has always been more sunscreen or sand on it. The cleaner cleaned the lenses of eyeglasses no streaks at all.
