I am currently searching for a digital camera that I can use underwater, perhaps while scuba diving. I like the Fuji WP camera, but it is only submersible to 10 feet, and the other cameras that can go deeper are out of my budget. I have an Ikelite case for my Canon SD630, but just bought a Canon D10, the Ikelite housing is about half the size of a shoebox.

The D10 is rated to 30′, both it and the Olympus Tough 8000, have better depth ratings than the Fuji.

Question: Can I take my camera under water?

I have a Fuji Finepix Z10fd Digital Camera, and I wonder whether it can go and take pictures under water. Or will it brake? Even if you can not put it under water, there is no housing, go round to protect it and where to get? Cos i really want to get a water able camera, but I do not know what it is? Thanksss:)

Answer: Water damage is perhaps the worst thing could happen with a camera that is not specifically designed for underwater shots. They have not even immerse themselves completely in order to permanently set it to. Fortunately, there are several options for underwater housing … You just have to find one that works for you!

Question: Does a video camera capture more than what appears on the screen?

I have some old videos where some of the picture that I really want is just slightly out of the screen. Back when I sold electronics, someone put a little bug in my ear saying that the picture you actually see is a cropped version of what the camera actually records. Is this true?? If so is there a way to access the rest of the picture?? I guess it also depends on the medium used, in my case 8mm, not hi8. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

I wonder if this is a good computer for gaming as a source decent counterattack or 1.6 or devil, as also for downloading movies and surf the net.
