Question: Which is better Multimedia Card or SanDisk 8GB SDHC memory card?
Im about to buy a Cannon SD900 digital camera, and i need massive storage and speed. im talking like 2hrs of video and a thousand photos the largest i have found is 8GB.. and i believe thats big enough to suite my needs
I need to know the differences between Multimedia Card and the new Sandisk SDHC cards which one is better in terms of capacity and reliability.. etc So any suggestions on which one to get would be greatly appreciated thanks

Answer: Multimedia cards aren't widely used by anyone and don't come in large capacities...so, you only have to think about using SD or SDHC cards. Sandisk is a brand I always use. It's fast, reliable and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Now...shooting movies at the highest resolution on your SD900 will only allow approx. 8 mins per 1GB (that's 1.7MB per sec)...so you will need 15GB just to shoot 2 hours of movies.
AND...the SD900 can only support SDHC cards with a maximum capacity of 4GB...so an 8GB card would be useless.
Also, to shoot approx. 1000 photos (at the best resolution) you will need at least 4GB.

Question: What is the practical difference you feel when using SD and SDHC cards?I bought a Canon SD790 and have a SanDisk 2GB SD card. I have heard people say, and say you read it, you will have a higher capacity SDHC. But in practical terms, what difference would I during operation a camera feel?
Answer: You feel it would not otherwise ... The SD card maximum capacity is 2 GB, while SDHC (High Capacity) go off and up to 4 GB. They are characterized by design, the same physical size. The only thing you can feel relieved that you are not to fill the card before you are ready to shoot. As already mentioned, most of us use the card reader to copy over our pictures to the computer ... as to increase capacity, it takes longer to move the image files from the card to the computer. I have a number of 16 GB cards, so with a card reader is the only practical way to do it. I recently bought an ExpressCard/54 the images can be transferred at speeds of up to 2.8 GB / sec ... almost six Times faster than USB 2.0 Reader is seven times faster than FireWire.

Question: What kind of double AA batteries should i buy that will last the longest for my digital camera?
My older digital camera, a Fuji FinePix Reuires 2 double AA batteries to function and take pictures. Over the years i have tried numerous different brands such as Energizer, Duracell, Sunbeam, Fidelity & Panasonic's AA alkline & lithium batteries for this camera. They all seem to runout/expire very quickly. What should i try next? Are there any other double AA batteries by companies that i have not tried that you could reccomend?
Answer: Well since a digital camera takes so much power to run, using regular non rechargebul battries will run out faster try energizer rechargabuls, i have a bunch adn it takes with occasional use about a month to 3 week to die, they last really long.
