Question: What kind of a camera is this?
The moment you go to this link: http://wongfuproductions.com/2010/02/more-web-series-sneak-peeks/
play the vimeo video you see.
At around :10 seconds you get a clear view of the camera. Can anyone identify what kind of a camera this is? I can see my the hand strap that it's canon but besides that, I don't know what kind of a camera this is. Help?
Answer: It's a Canon XH series professional. Can't tell which model though.

Question: Canon EOS 400D + SLR standard lens is good choice?Hello. To all, I have quite a few times about different camera and asked, etc. Finally, I've decided to buy Canon 400D SLR Clock, from reviews I decided that it is a really good camera for beginners. I have already bought for £ 310 (from Second-hand) is it good deal? It includes: Camera Body + standard lens kit. 1 GB memory card, tripod, battery charger + power cable, USB, remote control, wrist strap, Cleaning kit and CD's. And what should I start? Camera bag, perhaps? Thank you to everyone.
Answer: You have a reasonable Price paid for it, I would rather have the 400D as the 1000D, but I personally do not like for many reasons. 1) I find my hand the larger 300D, xxD, 5D, 1D / s and more cameras are good in the hand. Though you will probably be ok with the 400D. 2) 400D cameras, and later photographs show settings on the main LCD .... I find this annoying ... but do nothing wrong. 3) The 18-55mm lens from Canon is definitely not best effort. I would recommend supplementing with a 50mm F1.8 for Portraits, and replaced it with a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 or f2.8 Tamron 17-50mm or EF17-40mm F4L eventually. Other things to learn: 1) The Canon made cases (the "semi-hard" cases) are garbage, I would recommend either a Lowepro backpack or sling bag. 2) Filters are useful, I would say, Skylight Filter for 18-55mm and a polarizer - Even if it difficult to use. 3) You may want to stand at a certain time a little harder, Manfrotto, Slik, Gitzo and Giotto's upgrade are the top brands. 4) Photo Magazines and books will help you to technology.

Question: Which of these three 35 mm normal lenses do you think is the sharpest?
Rate their sharpness from 1 to 3.
(1 being the sharpest and 3 being the one with the lowest sharpness)Carl-Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50 ZF
Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4D
Canon EF 50mm f / 1.2L USMAnswer: After nearly forty years of shooting, I have found that the lab tests for sharpness of the major lens makers (the three are but a few) don't mean much because these lenses produce images that are virtually the same under real-world shooting conditions.
There is only one class of lens where lab sharpness results can matter. Those are the macro lenses, lenses that can focus 1:1 with sharpness from corner to corner on the film.

Question: What are the best objective: Leica or Zeiss?I have a f1.4 Planar T 50mm Carl Zeiss F mount Lens for Nikon, it is entirely Manual and produces very sharp images. I looked around to see if Leica 50mm are built with quality glass thinner and Zeiss could blow out of the water, but I did not reach any concrete conclusions. Leica to Nikon cameras is very expensive and difficult to find, is it worth?
Answer: You have a 50mm f1.4 Carl Zeiss! It is a superb piece of glass, although producing a Leica Lens is better the only difference being to be marginal. Get out there and use the damn thing!
