Question: Does this mean my computer's battery is dying?
I bought my Sony VAIO in the beginning of December 2010. And right now, the battery only goes up to 80% when charging, then it says "not plugged in". If I unplug my charger, it says it'll last for about two hours, but then diminishes to 7% in less than half an hour. The battery seriously can't be dead in only two months.
Answer: Your battery may be the culprit or it may be a more serious problem with the charging system itself. Since the laptop is so new you should contact Sony's technical service as soon as possible. They can advise you on what to do to fix the problem. I suspect you may end up having to send it back to Sony to get it fixed.
You have to get an RMA from Sony so that they have your problem in the system. You will get the RMA when the technician determines that you have a real problem. If the problem is determined to be the battery they may just send you another battery. The point is that THEY must make the determination.
Don't let this delay too long. The warranty for batteries is short.

Question: What cheap camcorder has a decent optical viewfinder (not a small lcd)?
Are there camcorders that have one? (cheap ones, maybe semi-pro like canon XL2)
A friend borrowed a camcorder, and it was one of 1000 dollars or more, and only had a stupid lcd optical viewfinder, the onces you find in bridge camera's
And at a brief look, it even had no manual control settings like shutter speed and aperture
Answer: a viewfinder with sufficient resolution to determine if a picture is in critical focus (like for HD) will cost over $800. that is why they are not a standard item on a cheap camcorder. it also explains why manual focus is not a good option either. as to manual aperature, again that would require a $2000 waveform monitor to correctly adjust. most people with camcorders don't want to carry around a hundred pounds of studio equipment and connecting cables when out in the field. and pay field engineer to make the adjustments. the features you mention are best implemented in a television studio.

Question: Where I can find a video camera and a tripod, let me write, pan and tilt of a remote control? The tripod must complete at least 180 to 360 speed grade, from a remote control.
A: As far as I know - Going to have to accept the idea of working with two remote controls here --- one for the camera and one for tripod head ---- almost any good video camera these days will come with a remote control for basic functions of your --- need here (and this is not so readily available in all markets) is for Remote control tripod HEAD --- these can be found fairly easily through places like B & H Photo, New York --- they are a bit on the pricey side, but usually be very well built and last long with proper care - and said - most of these are capable of 360 sweeps --- just a little extra moola - consider which has a feature called Target --- comes with a small device that when switched on and switch on the head is changed to the correct position - a round head will turn toward and track the location of the small device, which can never be --- instead this little button on an object and the camera will follow the person anywhere within the scope and extent of the tripod ------ ------- Hope this helps you work with stuff like my stock and trade ----- I've been a photographer for many years and commercial video production is just another facet of my business ----- Happy Pictures
