Question: How can I get white clothes that have now turned pink back to bright white again?
I made the mistake (not the first time, either) of washing a red garment or two with my whites. I generally don't separate the colors. So now, a lot of my whities are pink.
So how can I get them back to white again?
Answer: I assume you washed your whites with something red in the load? That's a toughie! Rit Dye makes a product called "color remover" that can help. It's available in the grocery store usually in the aisle that has the laundry detergent, or perhaps near the cleaning stuff. If that doesn't do it, try a chlorine bleach soak. Fill the tub of the washer add a couple of cups of bleach and add the clothes. Agitate a few minutes and then let soak. Check frequently and finish the load as soon as possible. Bleach will literally eat fabrics, given time.

Question: i want to draw a contemporary art piece, i have a large piece of paper but its yellowed somewhat...?
i know contemporary is modern "clean" "bright" "new" kinda look and im afraid my paper being yellowed somewhat might take away from the contemporary feel to it? its it worth going out an buying bright white paper or do i have the contemporary thing all wrong. its a every important picture that i want to submit to a compitition any ideas would help thanks
Answer: Rather than planning a "contemporary" art piece (which is basically anything that you create right now, at this time in history), why not express yourself in the medium you're most comfortable in, and see what comes out of it. The art is not in the substrate nor in the materials used; it's in what you create and by whom it's created.

Question: Can I use regular iron on transfer paper for black shirts instead of dark trasfer paper? Thus I'm doing a lot of shirts. The shirts are black and have a logo that is a very bright color. I use iron on transfer paper, but paper transfer leave ugly dark spaces in my logo and it is very difficult to narrow the gaps out from the intricate logo. So could regulate the use of iron transfer paper? HELP ASAP!
Answer: The color is not shown in the black, if you use plain paper, no matter how brilliant. Your best bet right now would be to redesign their logo a bit. Put black spaces (instead of blank spaces) into the design. Then, when it put on dark paper, transfer shirt, then his shirt, black spaces will be nothing there. Try that in a shirt and see what you think.
