Question: Is there a “collar” where the tranny filter tube goes in the tranny in a 2004 Impala 3.4?
When changing tranny fluid and filter on my 2004 Impala 3.4l this weekend I realized after all finished that there was a “collar” in the filter kit I had purchased. The replacement filter didn’t fit as tight as the factory filter, but did stay in place after install. There was no “collar” on the tube of the factory filter when it came out, so I didn’t think to look for anything to slide on the tube of the replacement filter. Do I need to remove replacement filter and slide this “collar” over the tube and reinstall???
Answer: yes remove the old Seal from inside the trans body you might yous your finger but an old screwdriver that you can bend to a slight hook to easily remove old Seal take some old trans fluid and put it on the new Seal and install I’m surprised you got the pan to bolt up because it usually wont make sure it goes on easy and don’t over tighten pan bolts tighten til you see the gasket bleed out slightly from between the trans and pan hope this helps

Question: Where can I find a filter, heating, food, etc., all in one kit for an aquarium, minus the tank?Answer: Try local pet shops to sell but most of that tank kits included. When you set up a good relationship with a local shop have, they may be willing to put together a kit for your piece. You can also Craigslist.org, yard sales, flea markets / garage sales, etc. ..

Question: Aquarium filter is not good and water turns green , wat should i do?
I have an Indian Flapshell turtle , i feed him turtle food everyday , and i have a BIG tank but 1/4 of tank is filled with water . I biought a sponge filter , but still the water by every afternoon turns green and some part of turtle food is fallen down which creates more irritation , so do u have any homemade filter dat which clean whole water and the colour of water not remain in green colour
Answer: The green thing, is algae….too much organic matter in the water…besides….does the tank receives direct Sun light? that’s GREAT for algae….avoid sun light….avoid organic matter (like food, crap) and you’ll get rid of algae….you might also want to put some plants in the water…plants will “eat” algaes food…so they’ll die…..there’s some products in pet shops to avoid algae.

Question: Do different colors have different intensities?I did a biology laboratory of the crickets and behavior toward areas light and shadow. Crickets, being nocturnal, naturally tend to go toward the shaded areas. Then manipulate the experiment to test whether different color filters of the light (yellow, green, purple, red) changed their behavior. Our findings were that, in yellow, more crickets in the shaded area. In green, more crickets in the green light. , Purple, more crickets in light purple, and red lights, more crickets in the red light. I can think of no way to explain this and was thinking maybe different colors had different intensities … Any help or clarification would be great!
Answer: There are different "intensity", but have different "brightness". This sounds strange, but it has to do with the precise definition of the word "intensity" and "shine". Intensity is the * amount * of light reaching the eye. If you know of photons, is * * the number of photons that is pumped out by the source of light. The intensity is completely independent of the color (frequency of the photon). If you have a light color with a buffer control. You can increase or decrease the intensity (increased number of photons is pumping), but this will not change its color. The luster is like the eye * * reflects the light. The eyes are more sensitive to some colors than others. For example, the human eye responds very well to yellow and less blue, not quite right to purple. So if you have three lamps of the same intensity (all making the same number of photons), but one is yellow, blue, purple … humans, yellow brighter than the light blue and light purple are much more tenuous. The same true for the crickets, though I can not top of my head what is your palette. But brightness also depends on the intensity. If you have three lamps of the same color but different intensities, the greater the intensity, the higher the gloss. This is the case of humans and crickets. So if the crickets away from light yellow rather than, for example, light purple, then this would mean either: (a) The yellow light was actually a brilliant intensity, light purple, or (b) Cricket eyes are more sensitive to light yellow to violet light (which is similar to humans). To remove (a) you have to calibrate * the lamps of the same intensity. I do not know how he would do as I do not know which team has. Maybe a light meter of a photographer would. It would not make sense to me than ever crickets * * Out of the shadow to light, no matter what color the light. The shadows are always darker. So we must always keep moving shadows, but it will quickly * * With the colors of light are more sensitive to the … or can not move at all if their eyes can not see the light at all. So it would measure the rate * * in moving into the shadows (how many minutes it takes to gather in the shadows). ps — —- 'seemynewname' also has a great point. Also must consider the possibility that the lamps are close enough to heat pump. Indeed if the crickets seem to be moving * in * lit areas certain colors, this could indicate that the light is perceived by them as heat (and are attracted to him), but energy is not visible (I do not like). It is possible want to do some experiments in which heat parts of the box with a small heater under the (rather light) to see if they are really attracted or repelled by heat.
