THe outlet for my phone that plugs into my home outlet is broken, only my car charger outlet. Is there any kind of adapter I can use that I can plug into my wall at home??
And I cant just buy a new charger because the output in my phone for the charger is broken, not the charger. It will be cheaper to buy an adapter than a whole new phone.

Because you can charge your phone only in your car , you need to buy a power supply that converts house current to 12vdc. An adapter socket like the auxiliary or cigar lighter in your car, with raw wire leads can be connected to this power supply. Be sure to observe the correct polarity of the DC portion of the circuit. Then you will be able to plug your cigar lighter plug into this socket and it should work.

There is always a way to create a solution with electronics, it is a matter of finding commercially available units or building them your self if you have sufficient knowledge.

Answer: I think its really cute. I would use it. Who cares if it doesnt match the uniform. If I had to wear a uniform I would add all these little things to make it still a bit unique. Just add a touch of something that makes it you still.
