Question: Should i get a Toshiba A505 or Sony Vaio NW laptop?

The Sony. Blue ray player. Shorter battery life 3+hours. Core 2 Duo. 320g gdd, Lighter not as bulky. Looks sleaker and nicer.

Question: a battery for a vivitar 285hv?I have two flashes vivitar 285hv is my only problem i used to use a battery like the Quantum Turbo Battery Pack, but a little less expensive. But every time I try to say it'll either Canon or Nikon? : 0 might help someone
Answer: Unfortunately, there is no good low-cost options. There is very little market for rechargeable battery packs for anything other than Canon or Nikon flashes. So you are left with Quantum or Lumedyne and they are both expensive. When looking for a Lumedyne Then you would have a cable http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/40186-REG/Paramount_PMCV_PM_CV_Connecting_Cord.html The less expensive Solution, an Al Jacobs battery is http://www.aljacobs.com/my_products/battery-pack.html use, but it's only a battery as a voltage converter. I have my own and while it works better than lower capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries is not the speed makes charging enough for my purposes. After a 1 / 2 power-pop, it takes about 2.5 seconds to get the flash to full charge. I would love to have half. I have a shoot today with a mix of studio lighting and flash equipment. I 285HV had some help, fill the background on white seamless. I always had to slow down and not shoot faster than the charging time and that was the limit, as my model would rapidly move to the next shot. But then, if I could have charged more quickly, I probably would have burned the lights. When I was copying the files over, I saw that I was close to 1100 shots for the day. No wonder I had to change the batteries in my 580EX is so often. I have something more studio flashes to get!
