Question: Wondering about charging my lithium ion battery for my Kodak M1063.?
I had somehow lost the original kodak KLIC-7001, so I bought a replacement. But it was a duracell. It worked when I put it in, but has died and now I cannot get it to charge. Is it only possible to charge a kodak battery with the charger that comes with the camera????

You might check out a dealer that sells both another battery and charger or even 2 batteries and a charger. For the price of one official Kodak battery, you should easily be able to buy 2 knockoff batteries and a charger. Most of this stuff comes from the far east, but they are produced in such high quantities for the worldwide camera market that you have a very good chance that they are just about as good as the OEM Kodak battery (many times the manufacturer is the same). Spend 15 minutes on the internet and ebay (if you're comfortable with that route) and you'll see. Many overseas dealers also ship for free so keep your eyes open for that.

Answer: The battery KLIC-8000, replacing the CRV3 is generally that with this camera. Do you have a charger at the same time? You need the charger K7500 or K7600. Charging takes about 3 hours.
