Question: What brand power tools should i buy? Need somekind of combo kit dont really want to spend a lot.?

I need a good set of tools for some things around the house, possible renovation later, and some sidework. I was thinking about buying a 24 volt firestorm kit from lowes (2 batteries, charger, hammer drill, circ. saw, recip. saw, and a jig saw) for $220. Ive been told that some of the older firestorm tools are junk, havent heard anything bad about the new ones and my experience with a little 12 volt drill wasnt bad. Comes with a 2 year warrantee and lowes 4 year extended protection for $60 which offers 100% parts and labor coverage for mechanical and electrical failures. Should i buy the firestorm kit? $280 for good power tools for 6 years sounds ok to me or should i just cough up 300 more and get dewalt tools??

Answer: if you can afford it buy the dewalt tools. they are far better than firestorm

Answer: Yes They Did I but it broke a 30g so I got a concert in August and use the same chargers, so not really matter is only advisable for 30g
