Question: How I can dry my camera?

My digital camera was in my bag when I spilled water. It works all day, but I know it is not. The screen has condensation in it and no lights. It is not wet to the touch, except for the screen. I was taking photos all day, and had a video of my graduation. Can I can fix it, or I can get the pictures of her? We need to return the camera and select the option to upload photos, so it will not work as usual.

Answer: The memory card can be removed and dried and often will be fine but the camera itself is a write off! if you use the internal memory has a 99% loss as photos of the camera will not work correctly again. Warranty does not cover abuse, as falls and humidity and internal control have sensors that show whether the water or the impact happened. Elelctronics (especially when turned on with battery or network) and water do not mix. if they dry you can sort of work a little, but continue to degrade as the corrosion continues long after.
