Question: NIkon D400/D700 replacement soon? This is fishy, what I have heard tonight?

Also, the display of the d700 could not be sold until the 8th month (August) of 2010. So I guess they will stay on display until then, right? This would signal the replacement date of the whole unit(s). SO why delete now?? I am in disarray now. Maybe the price will drastically drop. If $2,000…then D700 is MINE. By the way, own Canon 40d with 28-135 and 75-300 (cheap)…I can part with this setup!!

Question: Can anyone recommend a digital SLR cam excellent for a beginner?

I was seriously considering a fee dig reb x. However, I find the Nikon N55 quite a contender against it in terms of price / MP / and fps is considered. Also, should I buy a refurb or used?
