Question: HELP ON PAINtING: extremely important. any creative minds!?

k so for my art class. i have a huge culminating project where i have to paint a large canvas on a certain topic. so, my topic is poverty.
i was wondering if you would have any ideas. so far, i painted background the world (in shades of grey), and on top of that i glued on a picture of a poor boy, and a large hand that i will glue real money onto.
do you think you have any ideas to make the painting more 3-D?
oh and i forgot. i also glued on popsicle sticks to make a small replica of those poor huts in Africa. IDEAS PLEASE! and thankssss!

Answer: off to the side you can portray like, an alley with shopping carts, and ppl laying on the ground. Or to make more 3d you can put a small balled up piece of cloth, like felt, to represent a poor homeless man sleeping on the ground.

Question: What should be the background of my painting is?

I'm doing an art project for one of my friends. I have already referred, but he is supposed to be in a position truly random. He is sitting with his hands clasped. Had to look out of place. I can not decide what the context should be some suggestions? What should I do in either acrylics or pen and ink. (He is drawn on paper and I plan to glue the background.)

Answer: I do not know how good you are, let's say you want th easy way out …. abstract thinking and thinking about composition and color. There may be some color balance in a truly great, perhaps an all-over sponge tap in a color of a second or third … that could take your picture out and make it pop outta that painting ….
