Question: Art GCSE Topics, Any ideas anyone?
I have an idea of Trees and how they are used in the world, and like what they are transformed into such as Totem poles etc.
But i don’t think this will take me in any direction
I want an idea that i can do lots of pieces on and will broaden my ideas further, into something else
Also, i like doing photography and using cameras and editing so maybe i could do something along those lines?
I’m just stuck and need ideas!
I use acrylic paint a lot too and can also draw pretty good.
Please help!
I really am stuck.![]()
Answer: ey up ,don’t worry lass, i’ve been in ur position, i did art GCSE and now im studing art at uni. The thing is im guessing your only stuck ‘cos your lacking a bit of inspiration, all artists need this to do any work!
and what i’ve learnt so far is you can’t force inspiration, it just comes to u eventually and naturally and i understand u might have deadlines or summat but don’t add extra pressure on yourself. what i normally do at begining of a new project is take time to research, go ont internet, get some books from library, do loadsa sketches, photos, painting, collages, get to sum galleries, mess about wi it, experiment. Go for it!! don’t be scared to do wot eva u want!! btw, i got an A at art GCSE, and u can do it too! xxx

Question: The most overrated photographic equipment is …?… What? I tend to think that cameras and lenses are worth the money because engineering have to enter them. But have not really been able to find out the price on some gear. How does a speedring, 4 metal poles a bit of white material – a call light box – go for $ 200-300 (and more)? What else seems to cost more than it should? Thanks for all the answers now. I have no idea who is dropping the thumb down around the world.
Answer: What about reflectors … I spent about $ 100 for mine. O camera bags … my God! I can not believe they actually had to save for a … mine cost over $ 100.

Question: What do I need to set up a small, effective “photo studio” for taking pictures for my eBay auctions?
I’ve been eBaying for years, and have even been a PowerSeller. I’ve almost always used stock photography. Well, now it’s time to clean house and get rid of my own junk, especially clothes, that does not have stock photography available to me. So, what do I need to take high-quality, not expensive photos of my items? I have a great camera. I need to know, what kind of mannequin should I buy that’s cheap but looks good? And, what can I use as a backdrop? I’ve tried a sheet, but it doesn’t look very professional.

Question: Setting up an ameteur 'Studio' – are these lights any good?I want to set up a photo studio in my Recreation room, only for personal use. I have bought a backrop, and have the game with different light sources. But I really want some "real" Light. I really do not pay the slightest idea what I need you to .. Are they good? Or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Daylight-Fluorescent-5000k-Photo-Studio-Lighting-set_W0QQitemZ320197906777QQihZ011QQcategoryZ3860QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Can you recommend any others? (UK based) preferably under £ 200 …….. Thanks =)
Answer: These are not likely be bad for under 200, but realized that the light output for something that is far below what it is to get from one set of lightning. I would suggest saving to 400 and more, as always, a number of fundamental bursts with a power supply, such a system Novatron or something. For stationary subjects, continuous lighting is OK, but for people, you want lightning, so that you can freeze their movements (short exposure time) and a decent depth of field (f / 8 to f/11 for portraits, as a rule).
