i need something that will cut 100 lb. drawing paper that's about 42" wide and i wouldn't mind making my own. i really don't to spend a lot in buying a big one. the paper is in big rolls that's 42" wide like i said, and 10 yds. long. so find me a cheap one or some plans to make one
Answer: why don't you buy a large rotary cutting mat and cutter? (Like they sell for quilting/sewing.) Check Joann's or other fabric store, or even Michael's. (craft store)

Question: is 352 x 288 pixel resolution good for a digital camera?
It's a present for a family member but I don't want to get it if this is not good resolution. I'm not up to date with all the digital technology.
Answer: This must be a "keychain" camera. It's a toy.

Hit "All sizes" and then "Original" to see what VGA looks like. VGA is 640x480, so the camera you are looking at would give an image about ¼ of each one of these.

Question: What is the operation of mega pixels, optical zoom and digital zoom of a digital camera.?What is the operation of mega pixels, optical zoom and digital zoom. Which of these should be given more importance. Structure that should be considered of good quality in night photography.
Answer: First, I feel the optical zoom is the most important function of zoom. It allows me to zoom in on your subject by adjusting the lens, the minimum compromise quality. Digital zoom, however, is not very useful. I never use it. Digital zoom is basically crop the digital image, cutting off a part and then stretching. As there are only so many pixels in that area, if you separate them, the end result will probably be a very rough and hell a lot image noise. Is not very ideal. A common mistake is that the higher the megapixels, the better. This is not true at all. The megapixels should not be to the extreme, but just high enough. Megapixel is linked to the clarity of the images, only to a certain extent. If the megapixel camera is very very low, like 1, the resolution image will be low and data will not be caught. However, if the megapixel is too high, all the pixels could also prove to be more noise. Large Megapixel gives an image resolution of large size, which allows you to blow up the image. That is all. For starters, 7 megapixels is more than enough allows you to print images of a good size A4.
