Question: How to attach a M9 Bayonet to an AR-15 (with 16″ barrel)?

I’ve ordered an AR-15 from bushmaster with the 16″ barrel, which means that the M9 (standard issue) bayonet won’t properly attach as the bayonet lug on the receiver is too far apart from the bayonet rings near the flash suppressor (this is not a problem with the 14″ and 20″ ARs.)
Does anyone make an extension, adapter or otherwise some means to grant me the ability to a make my AR look awesome with the bayonet?

Are there any alternatives?

Question: Is a Nikon D80 compatible with Metz 45 CL-1 flash?

Hi, I have my own d80, it has a hot shoe connection and no sync cable input. I was the purchase of an AS-15 hot shoe adapter that will allow me to perform a sync plug in. However, thinking, I believe the D80 is i-TTL and the Metz flash is not TTL, so the Metz flash calibrated. for the perfect hand exposure, these devices are compatible or I will destroy a nice camera / flash adapter?
