Question: 04 Dodge Ram 2500 P0628 Lift pump problems?

Hi,
I have an 04 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 305555 Cummins Diesel, great truck, funner than heck to drive, and an excellent running truck…when it’s running. See I was pulling a gooseneck trailer with it here a couple months ago, the truck died in the middle of the road and flashed code P0628 wich is low voltage feed to the lift pump, there’s a couple different definitions of that code I know, but anyway, the problem is the factory lift pump which is mounted off the fuel filter cansiter is shot. I need options, I know there’s a $500 upgrade kit to transfer the pump to the tank, but the total cost of the repair with labor is over 1 grand. I can’t afford that, so is there any options or anything I can do to get my truck back up and running? I don’t know much abou the deal other than it was considered a bad design and was changed in mid year 04 to an in-tank pump. Any little bit will help,

Answer: Just a thought if under 70,000 miles might still have warranty??

Question: the Nikon D60 a good choice for my first DSLR camera? If not what do you recommend?

I just got a Nikon D60 Kit with 18-55mm VR / VR 55-200mm lens and a flash SB-600 also comes with bag. I also have a plan of 2 years of insurance covering almost all accidental damage. I spent $ 1480 for everything including some filters and SD cards and taxes. I made a lot of research before I bought, but I am still paranoid if I made a good choice or not. I mainly want a camera that I can learn all I need to know about SLR and still get a good photo to show off. I would use it for mainly taking pictures of paintball. I will be able to block the movement as an active player and sliding or diving and still capture the details with the D60? This is my first DSLR camera and I want only one thing to learn and grow out and still be able to take great pictures, I know that there are far better cameras than the D60, but this is about the level im looking for and I have everything I need. I can still go back every so u can have input is much appreciated. I will be dissapointed with the D60?

Answer: I do not think so. I have the D40x which shares many features with the D60. I am extremely satisfied. You can find at some point you want to invest in a wide angle lens for paintball, one with vibration reduction, but before that, just experiment with the settings that work best for you. I made great sport shots with my D40.
