Question: Why is my old 4 MP better than my 10 MP?

i’ve had a Sony Cybershot 4.0 MP for about 3 years and just got a new 10.0 MP Canon PowerShot A640. I’ve noticed that it is not as clear as my sony or as bright. I’ve even taken pictures from both cameras at the same place and the same time and the Sony appears to be more focused (even when i’m standing still for both shots) and brighter.

I’m thinking about returning the Canon.

There shouldn’t be any reason that your new camera would be worse than your old. Especially if it’s Canon’s A640; that’s a really good camera.
It must be something in your settings that is lowering the quality.
A few possibilities: Even though the Cannon is 10MP, it might actually be set at a lower resolution. In the menu for picture quality or size, check to see if it is set to something like “Email” or “4×6″ or anything other than the highest resolution, really.
Set it to the highest.
If it already is, it might be something like the White Balance that is throwing it off. My white balance got screwed up one time, and all my pictures came out all yellow and dark.
Thirdly, it could be that your “Image Stabalization” in your Cannon is not turned on. If light is low or the subject is moving or if you’re zoomed out really far, the image will be crappy, image stabilization will take care of that.
Last, just make sure your flash is always being used properly.

Question: is the Sony Alpha DSLR 230 good?

I am deciding between the Nikon D3000, the Canon EOS 1000D and the Sony Alpha 230. In Singapore, D3000 comes to about $ 998, the EOS 1000D around $ 999, and Alpha $ 230,700 (offer lasts until the end of the week). All in SGD. I was inclined to the D3000 for a while, until I read the reviews more and more negative one. It seems to be the rule as a cameras poorest Nikon came out in the past! Alpha 230 is more than worth it for someone new to SLR Whereas is $ 300 cheaper? Which three should I get?

Answer: Sony A230, use the remaining money for a second lens. If you can get the Sony A200 price, then get that instead of the A230. It has more dedicated buttons.

Question: What is the brand name of a small metal manufacture retro-looking RV?

I noticed a small (about the size of a mini-vans) The mobile home was a hard top and metal finish. Overall it was a retro look at, but I think it was new. I did not know the brand name.

Answer: You may have seen an Airstream trailer, and yes, there's Airstream Club. They are really nice and can be quite deluxe (aka: expensive). They were originally developed, think I, of an aircraft designer back in the 1940s to the shape of an airplane body to imitate it, her shiny, smooth, sleek exterior that made them less wind resistant and easier to "track" behind a car. You can "google" and "Airstream Trailer" and get a better idea. They are not as common a sight more so if that's what you saw, you were lucky. They are not as common as back to the 1950s, when people discover the "joys" of the new turnpike systems throughout the country and camping across the USA. You can still buy, but they are "expensive".
