Answer: For the 50D, you need to find a "good" lens if you want an excellent picture quality. A cheap lens is not good idea for a camera like this, you do not even include a question of a budget that only costs a few hundred dollars or so, because it does not deliver the image quality and not good enough for the lower illumination. A broader and with a (fast) aperture of f/2.8 is an excellent choice. From the Canon lens / camera review website below (from the 50D) … "Because the quality of the lens makes a big difference in picture quality of a DSLR camera delivered – especially with the resolution of the 50D, recommending I think (now or later), one of the best Canon lenses for general purposes. At this time of the review, the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 USM is my recommended 1.6 lens with the Canon EF 24-105mm f / 4 L IS USM and the EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM as excellent alternatives. "Another excellent lens with a longer focal distance from the EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L, with or without IS or f / 4 version, with or without IS. Question: Looking for a CPL filter well, can you help me?

I am a beginner photographer (taking classes next fall), who wants to use my camera for graphic design work, so I need a filter for good quality mid-range market. I like the '58 mm Hoya Circular Polarizer HMC ' but price-wise it is a little 'out of reach. I want something that is provocative multi-coated. There is something that is similar in terms of quality of '58 mm Hoya Circular Polarizer HMC '? And it would be appropriate, with the double threaded filters hoya going to buy? What do you suggest? I will probably only end save up to achieve this, but I was wondering what kind of options are out there. Thanks in advance! ^ _ ^

Answer: First, its generally not a good idea to "stack" filters, especially when using a wide angle lens. The result may be vignetting (dark corners) on photos. I always suggest to buy the filters in a "thin" or "slim" fit, especially for use on a wide angle. Secondly Hoya is a good brand, as are B + W, Heliopan, Tiffen and Singh-Ray. A quality filter should be considered an investment since it will last a long time with reasonable care. You should always have a UV / Haze filter on your lens to protect the front element.
