Question: Could i run a external filter which is can run at twice the size of the tank?

i have a eheim 2226 filter which has a main cap of 300l and my tank is only 150l. now i have heard that some people do have filters which are way to big for there tank to make the water quality immaculate. But is this recommended?

Answer: It would matter what type of fish you keep. For larger fish that create a lot of wastes (goldfish, large cichlids, large catfish) or ones that like a lot of current, overfiltration can be a good thing.

If, on the other hand you’re keeping fancy goldfish (egg-shaped body and double tails), bettas (long flowing fins), killifish (prefer slow water movement), fry, or other fish whose swimming might be impaired, then overfiltration isn’t such a good thing.

Generally, going up in size in a filter won’t cause any harm, as long as the size difference isn’t extreme, and your Eheim should have a lever to adjust the flow rate. You can also direct the water return toward a wall to disperse the force of the water when it returns. But, again, base this on the type of fish you keep in the tank and their swimming ability.

Question: trying to find a roof for a bottle of water?

Some years ago, I found that you put a cap on a bottle of water, a bottle of 20 Oz to find in a convienence store. The cap was sold in a store. The cap had a filter in it, and you could fill the bottle of water with ol yukky water tap water, and it would filter out the bad taste. anyone know where to find such a thing?

Answer: My mom bought a bottle sports like K-Mart years ago. Try Wal-Mart, K-Mart sucks.

Question: What is a good quality and low price fisheye lens for skateboarding?

I skateboard and I got a Panasonic SDR-S26P/PC it has a 37mm lens and i want to buy a fisheye lens and a camera handle. I looked at different sites and i seem to like small Opteka lenses like thin. Question: Conversion Lens for Panasonic

I recently purchased Panasonic PV-GS150 camcorder and when you search Amazon I stumbled upon Kenko 2x Telephoto Conversion Lens. I realize that with this objective that I had more in my image, but has not helped the image quality, but also? Its clarity, more light to come through? What else would help? Thank you.

Answer: They degrade the quality – you can not improve with the addition a lens.
