Okay, I am trying to wrap my head around when to use whole seconds on the Mamiya RZ67.

I have the standard (white numbers on the dial)

Whole numbers (in orange on the dial)

I have experienced really poor exposures so far…the only photos I took that came out were in the studio-but they came out perfect, so the camera is in operating condition. But every time I attempt an outdoor shot, the film is practically translucent when I develop it. I meter with a Sekonic L-28c. (Shooting in “Sun setting light around 5-6 pm on the west coast-what should my shutter speed/aperture be?)

Should I be using half stops with the meter? Or whole stops? Or should I never use the orange whole stop numbers?

Answer: Your aperture is controlled on the lens?! (Not used Mamiya but I have used Blad and Bronica).

So you need to check your ISO and put the camera into manual. This sounds to me like you are getting the shutter speed wrong. B is not Bulb Flash – simply Bulb, surely? You can flash synch’ at every aperture.

You are underexposing by the sound of it – using neg not tranny? – it makes a difference as they work in reverse when it comes to emulsion coverage!

Your settings should be driven solely by the readings on your light meter – if in doubt take it to someone who can explain or consult your manual. Half stops will do.

The different colours are probably used to indicate different shutter speeds, that’s all.

Question: What shade of MAC Studio Fix Powder / Foundation to go?

Hey. I am mestizo, white (Greek) and black. Fall in fair and just hand the life of me can not choose the right poweder. I have slight yellowish hues have been using the MAC NC42 Studio fix liquid foundation with translucent powder Rimmel, but I would start using the base / cup in place. I have looked in various shades and do not know if I should go for the NC40 (which looks way too clear to me although I have not used it) or NC42. Can someone please help me?

Answer: I was in your exact situation before, so I went to a MAC representative and told him I was very interested in some foundation and needed help finding my shade, I had no idea. She gladly took me under his wing, took off the makeup and took into account what was my shadow and my shadow powder. Not that I had intended to purchase powder, but once I saw the beauty of the solution powder study lay the foundation, which was sold! Most MAC meetings I have had in several places have been positive experiences. So do not take advice from someone who really tells you a shadow, without personally seeing your skin tone and without staff apply to the face! Good luck, I love MAC … I continually get complimented on my makeup and told how beautiful my skin looks. It is far from being a failure, that's for sure! Oh, yes, my foundation and powder lasted me 5 months already, I think in January I will buy some new ones!

hi, I have a Sony Cybershot H10. Can anyone tell me how to set the macro mode? I tried and it says macro is invalid. We appreciate your help.

Answer: Look on page 16 of manual http://www.docs.sony.com/release/DSCH10_EN_ES.pdf You should be in macro mode on the right for the job. I would say that the Auto and Auto Macro Program would let you enter.
