Question: What are the possibilities?
i have a Canon Eos Elan 7e that came with 28-90 mm lens, a diffuser (?), and an oval spot (?) from cokin(?) that I obtained from a yard sale about 2 years ago for around 20 bucks. I have already used it and it works great. I read up on the camera and saw that it was a good camera for intermediate photographers. Well I have 800 speed Fujifilm and i'm wondering what kind of pictures these four things can produce. I'm a beginner but i'm learning. I'll take pictures of anything from warping wood by setting the aperture to a child's dirty face using portrait mode. What would be an ideal film speed? Any pointers would be helpful.
thanks.
Answer: Set up a series of mirrors and have the camera photograph itself.
800 Ectapress film is one of the best fast films made and can be pushed as far as two stops,... three will get some strange results especially with longer exposures.

Question: Filters Cokin Series A & P is one replacing the other?I have a Fuji S9600 and recently given a Cokin filter holder series and some filters that I appreciated the help. I put a filter on my list ND2 Graduated Birthday and when the husband is out to get it today useful person in the camera shop said that Cokin A series is not over products and offered him a P-series starter kit instead. I also heard that the series filters also fit the P-series filter if you use an adapter added. Just as I am now completely confused as to whether I should stay with my game of the Series A or amend a series P. Incidentally, the S9600 Fuji has a target of 28-300mm A-series does not quite work with the camera when set to the shorter focal length, essentially captures the objective part of the filter in the shooting, it disappears only when the target is about 35 mm. Gosh I hope I just wrote a meaning to someone!
Answer: quite logical. To my knowledge, is Cokin not abandoning the series (amateur). The series is ideal for small digital cameras. For SLR and DSLR, you want to get either the P-series (professional) or X-Pro (if you use very wide angles on a full frame body.) As you mentioned, the series is designed for focal lengths from 35 mm or more, if a filter P-series is probably better for your digital camera. Yes, there is an adapter for P A. It is Cokin P249. Carmen: For a filter as a graduate / Split Neutral Density filter, or a Cokin Filter Singh-Ray is the way to go. It is also of high quality filters.
