Question: Should I install a forearm shares with pistol grip for my Mossberg 500 tactical rifle with a retractable? If they a better feel and better control?
Answer: I do not for my part, as for the end of the pistol grips on the Moss Mountain. I have one with a folding stock, light, expanded MAG, and formerly a gun forearm, which I removed quickly. Mine is used for personal protection, and I felt that I was not the gun in my hand for the proper shooting fast enough with the pistol grip, if that makes sense. How has your hand resort to be accurate in a particular position to take advantage of, but when grabbing it in an emergency for a regular-end would be better. Just my $ 0.02

Question: Pls detail the difference 'tween a HOYA Super HMC Pro 1 Multi-coated 58mm filter and a Tiffen 58mm UV filter?
two filters:
HOYA Super HMC Pro 1 Multi-coated 58mm UV (0) filter
Tiffen 58mm UV filterI bought both, I have a XSi with both the kit lens and a F 50mm f/1.4 and was looking for some filters. I was able to pick up the Tiffen at a third of the cost ofnthe Hoya (i bought both). Functionality wise, in respect to protection and IQ, is there that much of a difference? (justified by $$). I'm not sure if the Tiffen has multi-coating and to what extent thats important. Thnx in advance, just looking for a "Readers Digest Condensed version" of the difference between the two filters. Both are recognizable brand names, I know. Thnx
Answer: The HMC will have better light transmission and less surface reflections. Internal reflections can cause flare and/or loss of contrast if bright light is hitting your lens.
Glowing words about Hoya filters:http://www.hoyafilter.com/products/hoya/hoya-02.html
The coatings on Hoya Hmc filters are somewhat fragile which means clean with care. I find that a microfiber cloth for eye glasses works well. Just be sure the cloth is clean and free from dust and dirt.

Question: Protecting a redwood fence. Product and technique?I just built a redwood fence for my pool pump and filter. 1.) What product would you recommend? I want a durable clear protection .. 2) I saw a product brand name, but said surface smoooth. My pen tips are quite rough. I do not I sand them. What do you think? 3.) I read on the can that you need 4 hands, but need to sand between your hands. This can be tough with the rough surface. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Answer: Do not buy Behr, or any other products that Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. to sell. They are designed for low price and ease of use. You're better off with a high quality product. Your results will be better, and you need to retire less frequently. I included a link to a product made by Benjamin Moore that I've used it several times. It 's really an excellent product. Hope this helps.
