Question: Whats a good price to sell Used 18-55 mm Canon lens for?
They're in great condition haven't been used much, and i have the case/protector thing that you put on both sides
i saw them on Amazon for $150 so is $100 too much? Is $80 a good price, or is that too much for them?
Answer: I would say $50-$75. I know its a lot less than they're going for new, however, they're not in much demand. People get them with the kit when they're starting out, but very few people want one after that. It depends if its the older version or the Image Stabilized version, but you might want to consider just keeping it as a backup lens.
I've worked in a photo store that sold used equipment, and I can tell you, whenever we got one of these in, it took a while to sell.

Question: 'need to use UV protector for my Canon 18-55 lens kit?I am using canon 1000D.I user.I am a new need to know if you need or do not use UV protector. If, you must then why? that could be detrimental to my goal not to use UV protection? Pls also help, that lens is good for that kind of picture? I mean that lens should I use for landscape, which for macros? There is an objective that covers almost all of these things? Pls help ....
Answer: The UV filter is there to protect the front lens element from damage due to fingers or things that can scratch the lens. It costs much less to simply replace a UV filter that send the lens back for a replacement front element. Landscape = EF-S 10-20 mm Macro EF = 60 mm NO single f/2.8 lens does it all

NovaFlip Digital SLR Camera Flip Flash Bracket NEW |
Question: Are the flash brackets that flip the flash any good? Should I get one that flips the camera?
Seems as though the ones that flip the flash wouldn't be as good because the flash is sideways. I know it's still above the lens, but the light itself is flipped. Does that affect the flash? Should I get one that flips the camera?
Answer: Flipping the camera itself will not really accomplish what you want unless you want a portrait oriented shot. What might interest you is something like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/464814-REG/Custom_Brackets_CBMINIRC_CB_Mini_RC_Camera_.html it gets the flash off to the side and eliminates red eye.
Check out these guys http://www.flickr.com/groups/strobist/ they live for that off camera flash stuff and love to talk about it too.
