Question: I need a studio setup for photography and video, can't decide which way to go.?
I'm trying to get by cheap but effective. Can you set strobe lights to be continuous lights? I'd like 2 continuous lights in soft boxes and a strobe with a barn door/honeycomb/snoot with gels, the stands, and maybe a soft backlight for greenscreen purposes. I also need a greenscreen (preferably 30x10 but 20x10 would work), with stands. And if it all packed into 1 or 2 cases that would be perfect.
Any suggestions? and should I keep a flood light handy just in case I cant get enough light?
oh, also need a white silver and gold umbrella (1 of each)
And- if I could get all of them controlled at 1 central point that would be outstanding.

Answer: I can't answer your question, but I can offer a little.
I buy 500 watt photofloods for $6 on ebay. I buy clamp-on lamps for $2. I use two or three of them for shoots. If the light is too harsh, I aim them against a wall. For backlighting, you'll need a less powerful bulb.
The stuff you refer to sells on ebay also.

Question: Can I put a strobe light blazer?I own a '02 Chevy Blazer Xtreme, and I try to make a car show. Only setback is currently a bill $ 3,000 an accident 2 months ago. I'm managing to stand out and I thought, what better than strobe lights, as what police use in the P71 Crown Vic. Would - would it be possible to do that my car and keep it legal (I live in NJ)? I will not be with them on the line, just use them for show car. And how much would it cost probably for purchasing and installing lights (flashing in the headlights, grill, mirrors, and taillights)? Question: HELPP!Will ANY CAMERA WORK on the Joby GP1-EBEN Gorillapod Flexible Tripod?
Honestly, i don't know how tripods work. I mean I know what they do, but I don't get how the camera stays on it without falling off. Will my point and shoot panasonic lumix dmc-zs3 work for it???
Answer: There should be a threaded area on the bottom of the camera that will match the threaded part at the top of the Gorillapod. Screw it on, and the camera should stay!
