Question: Does anyone have tips/links for using a NikonD40?
I've read the manual a couple of times, but I am having trouble using the camera w/ the manual settings. I thought it would be a lot easier because I have been using manual settings on my SLR forever now, but apparently that's not the case. Help Please! =]

Question: How do you delete images from the flash memory of the Home Guard Digital Video Capture Camera? This camera is also sold as MicroEye and VideoGuard is a self-contained camera / recorder disguised as an air freshener. The unit I have has 128 MB of flash memory. It works OK with a lot light, but can only record a few hours before the memory is full. Presumably, you can switch between "enough" or continuous "loop" recording (for the first, the camera will stop recording when the memory is full, the second writes about old movies). The problem is that there seems to be a way to eliminate old footage from flash memory: Once the memory is full, you can select only the "loop" record, which means that you can not stop using the "full" command, and so potentially you are going to record the movie you want (in my case, which of my friends is stealing me). There is nothing in the Instruction Manual on how to delete stuff from the flash memory and can not find anything on the web (a lot of places sell this unit, but not manuf. listed). Any ideas?
Answer: maybe you could try to get the flash off? and use a card-reader to connect with the PC via USB cable, but I must say it is, first, a project inattention.
