Answer: It is an excellent camera, and the kit lens is very good. It comes with a strap, battery and battery charger, as well as cables needed, and Instruction Manual.

You will need to buy an SD media card, I'd suggest getting one of at least 4gb, and an extra battery & camera case.

Check prices at http://adorama.com and http://bhphotovideo.com .. both companies are quite reputable, and offer lower than average prices, and excellent service.

Question: Would you a. ..?

Canon Rebel XTi 400D SLR Camera Body w / LENS, or a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT w / lens, strap, battery Charger, battery, interface and video cables, software CDs, plus an additional lens and remote control RC-1. Both have a warranty. So, what would you preferr? Upgrade Camera or an old camera with many treats. They are about the same price.

Answer: Well, it should come with all the things XTi included, less the additional lenses. If you use the new DSLR cameras are older, you will be more for your money. Amateur photographers normally go to get the best for their money ... professionals do. It is only with too much money to spend more than they need for some well-known because of some kind.
