What gives? Why aren’t they showing downloads anymore? And how do i get an Windows XP x64 driver for my scanner?

Question: slide scanner rental in Northern IL?I need allot of scanning 35mm slides and I do not want to spend 1000 on a special scanner. Is there a place I could rent a film scanner, preferably, the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED in northern Illinois?
Answer: If your slides just the 35mm film strips, which come from the film developer, you do not need to have a special scanner. I have a Canon D1250U2F that came with a pretty small device, which consists of a excellent photo rendition of a 35mm film strip. It cost me $ 50 a few years ago. Of course, this is not a "high production model," some time so it could to do the work. Other than that, I have no idea where you could rent such a scanner.

Question: How do I raise the bench seat in my silverado?
I have a 2001 silver ado with two MTX 4500 12 inch subs in it. The amp wiring and everything fits quite snuggle where the jack goes, I just keep the jack in my tool box. I need a little more airspace in my box (stuffing with poly does no good) to accommodate the large amount of wattage being passed through the sub. For that, I need to raise the seat itself, not just raise the bench portion. I cannot seem to find the mounting bracket that attaches the seat to the frame/floor/interior of the cab. Does anyone know how to do this.
Answer: there should be 4 or 6 bolts holding the seat frame to the floor of the truck. once you locate these bolts, remove them and place washers under the seat frame to reach desired height
