Question: How often would you have to change the ink cartridge on a photo printer (portable)? After how many pics ?

I was thinking to get a Canon Pixima or SELPHY not sure which model yet. Thanks

Answer: Canon Pixma iP5000 can get you an impressive number of photos (over 250 glossy 4×6′s) with each color cartridge, and almost 300 photos with the black cartridge. You can’t go wrong with Canon if you are trying to maximize the number of prints you get per cartridge. Generally speaking they outperform Epson printers in terms of output per cartridge.

Question: How do I remove the write protection on my SmartMedia memory card?

I have a Fujifilm SmartMedia memory card for my machine digital photography. One day, all of a sudden my comp couldnt read it because he said that there was a write-protection. How do I remove it?

Answer: The other posters are incorrect. First, copy protection is not the same thing as the write protection. And one might think that the manifesto was cited Wikipedia as a source, since he copied word for word from them. In any case, I have the SmartMedia card and the write protection consists of a sticker that goes in a circle on the card. To disable write protection, simply remove the sticker. Check that circle to make sure that there is adhesive and make sure that there has not been brilliant in some way (shine activate write protection). Sometimes the cards or readers go wrong, and show the protection writing, even when the card is not write-protected. You can try with another player and see if the problem is resolved. EDIT: I found this place setting SmartMedia cards, If this is the SmartMedia card that is the problem: http://www.smartmediarepair.com/ Second Amendment: You can find this discussion very informative: http://www.mlancentral.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=1 , 2.4 Media & Board = & Number = 43334th & page = 0 & view = collapsed & sb = 9 & O = 9 = & fPart
